Frequently asked questions
Is admission into FS28 guaranteed for anyone who pays?
No. Because of the intensive 1-on-1 mentor commitment, FS28 is capped at 25 scholars per year. Every candidate goes through a 15-minute profile evaluation call with Aditya before enrollment is confirmed.
Do I need to know Japanese before applying for MEXT?
For STEM and English-taught programs, Japanese is not officially mandatory, but having JLPT N5/N4 dramatically improves your interview ranking. We provide FS28 scholars with free access to KIHON language resources.
What is the difference between Embassy Track and University Track?
Embassy track is conducted via the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi with national written exams. University track involves directly applying to a Japanese professor and university who then recommends you to MEXT. We guide you on both paths simultaneously.
